Here’s a little insight into what it takes to bring to life an ad for Empire Cinemas.
After getting the auditorium concept approved and carrying out test shots we organised for approximately 30 models to be the IMPACT audience. We systematically moved them to different positions within the auditorium taking photos to cover all the seats in view of the shot (the auditorium holds around 180). The shots were all put together in re-touching to create the final image below, showing as if by magic a full auditorium. The film imagery (X-Men: First Stand) was inserted into the interchangeable screen area, typographical elements and logos were added and screen effects were applied to show the IMPACT experience… And voilà, a poster was finished.
